Choice Hotels' Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Easing Travel Planning
With the goal of easing your travel planning, Choice Hotels has adjusted our individual booking policies to give you additional flexibility by making the adjustments below:
- For guests with existing individual reservations, including reservations with non-cancellable, pre-paid rates made directly with Choice Hotels, we will allow changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival as long as the change or cancellation is made by April 30, 2020.
- For guests making new individual reservations directly with Choice Hotels between today and April 30, 2020, we will allow those reservations to be changed or canceled at no charge up to 24 hours before a guest's scheduled arrival date. To cancel more than 24 hours in advance of stay, guests may call the hotel where their reservation is held or call our Customer Care Center at 1-888-770-6800.
- Guests who booked via online travel agents, or other third parties, are advised to contact their booking provider in order to make any cancellations.
During Your Stay
As we move together through the COVID-19 we want to keep all of our guests informed of the precautions that we as a hotel are taking.
Our hotel has worked with our chemical company to ensure we are using the proper cleaning chemicals on all of the services of the building. All of our employees wear gloves while on duty and we are constantly wiping all surfaces, door handles, buttons with the proper cleaning chemicals.
Breakfast hours will be changing. Our breakfast will now until further notice is from 6 am to 9:30 am. We will not be offering our regular continental breakfast due to health concerns and limited supplies in the market. We will be offering a limited selection of Bagels, Yogurt, Cereal, Milk, and Juice. Our selections will change from day to day based on the supplies that we are able to secure. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope to be able to offer our breakfast in full again soon.
Based on the CDC's recommendation to limit the person to person contact and to help limit exposure we have decided to close our indoor saltwater pool for the time being. We take very seriously the safety of our guests and we want to ensure that we are complying with all the recommendations given to us. Our pool will be closed until further notice.
Our housekeeping department will be around to service your room every 3 days. To limit the exposure of person to person, we have made the decision that we will not enter any guest room for a minimum of 3 days. If you have garbage or towels you would like for us to replenish please leave them in the hallway no later than 12 pm (noon). We will be around to offer new trash bags and fresh towels. On the 3rd day, we will enter your room to provide you with fresh sheets and to vacuum and dust all areas. Our Front Desk staff is on hand 24/7 should you need anything.
